REFLEXOLOGY FOR THE TREATMENT OF PAIN
The Kruchik method of reflexology is a ground-breaking unique method of reflexology created by Mauricio Kruchik from Israel, which he teaches worldwide.
The Kruchik Method is based on the creation of pleasure to fight pain and the belief that all body reserves are there to serve the patient's own reserves, empowering them to deal with the pain but with a different therapeutic approach, never fighting the pain head on but educating the body to find and use their own medicines and creating pleasure, so that this be reconciled with all its resources to create a deep and unwavering sense of wellbeing.
This methodology includes exploration, mapping, understanding and treatment of pain through a combination of techniques.
The kruchik method’s treatment of pain uses specific technique protocols, which may include using ice, balls, weights and reflexology in motion.
This amazing method has had successful results with many clients after only one session by reducing pain and increasing flexibility.
Before the first session you will receive an online consultation form that will need to be returned before your first treatment.
At the beginning of your treatment you will be asked to remove your shoes and socks and you can either lie or sit on the treatment couch. It will be explained how reflexology works and what to expect in the session.
Depending on where the pain is you may be asked to lift your arms, turn your head, bend your knees so that the level of pain and flexibility can be recorded on a pain record sheet.
During the treatment and depending where the pain is you may be asked to squeeze a ball, lift a weight, move your arms or neck while specific reflexes are being worked on the feet. Ice may also be placed on the correspondent reflex point of the foot.
At the end of the treatment you will be asked to do the same actions for the pain record sheet so that you will then be able to see any improvements the session has made.
Feedback and aftercare advice will also be given.
